Severstal North America appoints new scrap director

Severstal North America has appointed Sanjeev Badola as its new director of scrap and metallics procurement based in Dearborn, Michigan, USA.
Gerrit Reepmeyer, Severstal's vice president of procurement said that Badola's 'profound background and knowledge of international metallics trading' makes him an ideal appointment.
Badola was previously worldwide trading manager of raw materials for Starglobe where he handled a US$400 million portfolio of pig iron, hot briquetted iron and iron ore. Prior to Starglobe he worked for Carbofer trading in pig iron.
